Global Association of Events and Hospitality Professionals (GAEHP) organised a virtual product presentation in collaboration with Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board on May 21, 2026, as part of the associationโ€™s โ€˜GAEHP Exclusive: Skill Enhancement Series 2026โ€™.
The webinar witnessed participation from over 100 travel agents from across India and was aimed at strengthening destination knowledge and product awareness within the Indian travel trade.

According to GAEHP, the initiative was designed to equip travel professionals with updated insights on Malaysiaโ€™s tourism offerings, enabling them to better promote the destination across both leisure and corporate travel segments.

The virtual session featured presentations and destination updates from several Malaysian tourism and hospitality partners, including Lexis Hotel Group, Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa, GL Play by Gamuda Land, Aโ€™Famosa Resort and Tourism Malaysia.

Rajesh Arya, President of GAEHP, and Sanjay Sahgal, Director โ€“ Programme & Coordination, said, โ€œEquipping our members with firsthand knowledge of prime international destinations is crucial as the global travel landscape evolves. This webinar reinforces our commitment to fostering professional growth and building strong, cross-border business opportunities for our members.โ€

The association also expressed its appreciation to Ahmad Johanif Mohd. Ali, Director of Tourism Malaysia, New Delhi, for his continued support towards the Indian travel trade and the initiative.

GAEHP additionally acknowledged the contribution of Jeet Bahadur for coordinating the virtual event.
